Big Tide in Saint-Malo

By convention, the coefficient 100 is attributed to “the greatest tide that follows about a day and a half the moment of the full or the new moon, towards the syzygies of equinoxes” (Laplace, Treaty of celestial mechanics, volume V, 1825).
All coefficients above 100 are then referred to as “large tides”.
