City of Oulu traffic light data
Description
The traffic light interfaces of the City of Oulu and ITM Finland in Northern Ostrobothnia are connected to the Traffic Performance Monitoring System (TPM). The system calculates several key performance indicators (KPIs) from interface lanes and signal groups. The key figures describe the functionality of traffic lights and traffic. The data have been published on [TPM interface] (https://api.oulunliikenne.fi/tpm/api-docs), where you can search for the measurement values of KPIs in real time.
Traffic light data shall be calculated from the status data of traffic light devices and groups of signals with accuracy of 0.1 s. All KPI values shall be calculated from signal groups or lanes every 5 minutes. Three KPIs are also counted in each traffic light cycle.
