Description
Data from https://www.deutschlandatlas.de : Percentage of persons in need of care in inpatient care among the total number of persons in need of care in 2021. Almost 5 million people in Germany are in need of care. The German Atlas shows in which regions inpatient care is more common and where people are more likely to rely on outpatient care. One million people were supported at home by 15,000 outpatient care services in 2021. Nursing homes offered a total of around 880,000 places for full inpatient long-term care, with 771,000 people being cared for there in 2021.
