Beneficiaries of the minimum old-age pension: past career and pension level

Four out of five beneficiaries receive a direct pension but most have had an incomplete career. They often retire for unfitness for work or disability. With the gradual improvement in the coverage of schemes, the share of beneficiaries who have had a full career, including former farmers, is falling sharply among the youngest.
