The economic and financial situation of private for-profit clinics

In 2011, the net profitability of private for-profit clinics is estimated at 2.6% of their turnover, an increase of 0.6 percentage points compared to 2010 (2%). This improvement is the result of an increase in the exceptional result, linked in particular to real estate disposal transactions, and may therefore not be sustainable. The operating result fell by 0.7 percentage points to 3.7% of turnover in 2011 (4.4% in 2010).
