Aggregated e-scooter rides in Dresden

Description

The dataset contains the aggregated and routed e-scooter rides for the city of Dresden, which were generated from the e-scooter usage data between July and September 2021 as part of the mFUND project ScoNe. The data was retrieved by Cyface GmbH using an interface of an e-scooter provider in Dresden and converted into source-target data. Subsequently, the data were processed by the Chair of Transport Ecology, made plausible and projected and aggregated on an OpenStreetMap network graph using a routing algorithm. The basis for the routing is Graphhopper with a routing profile adapted for e-trollers, which is also provided. A total of 48,921 trips were evaluated during the survey period of 8 weeks.
