Court of Auditors publications by type and date of publication (2011-2016)
Description
The Court of Auditors’ mission is to ensure the proper use of public money and to inform citizens thereof (according to Article 47(2) of the Constitution).
As an independent court, the Court of Auditors is located equally between the Parliament and the Government, which it assists both.
The Court shall make public and publish on its website all its work (except special confidentiality requirements).

The Court of Auditors carries out a lot of work every year. This dataset, which tracks the number of Court publications from 2011 to 2016 (partial 2016 data), focuses on nine types of publications (definitions available on the [Financial Courts website] (http://www.ccomptes.fr/Glossaire)):
— the annual public report;
— thematic public reports;
— reports published in response to Parliament’s requests for investigation or evaluation;
— reports made at the request of the Government;
— annual or equivalent reports drawn up under the Organic Laws on Finance Laws (LOLF) or Social Security Financing Laws (LOLFSS);
— reports on the quality of the accounts of general government whose accounts are subject to certification by an auditor;
— reports on the accounts and management of the Presidency of the Republic;
— reports on organisations receiving donations;
— the interim measures.
