Productions of regional and territorial chambers of accounts, by regional chamber and type of production (2010-2015)
Description
The Regional and Territorial Chambers of Accounts have as their principal role on local and regional authorities and their public institutions a triple competence to adjudicate the accounts of public accountants, to examine the management and control of the budget. They also have a mission to assess public policies and the conditions for their implementation at local level through their contribution to thematic surveys ([source](http://www.ccomptes.fr/Nos-activites/Chambres-regionales-des-comptes-CRC)).
The Regional and Territorial Chambers of Accounts carry out a lot of work every year. This dataset, which tracks the number of productions in each of the regional and territorial chambers from 2010 to 2015, focuses on seven types of production:
— opinions given, in particular on community budgets;
— debentures issued in the context of the judgments of the accounts of the public accountants;
— judgments deliberated collegially by the Chamber;
— orders signed by the President of the Chamber;
— published reports of final observations;
— indictments taken by the Financial Prosecutor’s Office;
— sums which cannot be remitted, that is to say, which are not liable to be remitted free of charge.
To facilitate a constant perimeter reasoning, when two chambers were merged as part of the CRTC reform of April 2012, their data were collected as belonging to the merged chamber (e.g. CRC Auvergne and CRC Rhône-Alpes data are traced in 2010 and 2011 as part of the CRC Auvergne, Rhône-Alpes).
