Presentation of the basics
Description
This section provides access to general statistics not related to the outcome of the grouping of stays or diagnostics and medical procedures: the number of stays per French administrative region is presented according to the type of stay, stays not CM 24 (GHM J and T as of 2009) nor sessions, stays of CM 24 (GHM J and T from 2009) and sessions of the age class of the sick, broken down into two tables, (0-29j, 30-119j, 120j-1an, 1 year-4 years, 5-16 years) on the one hand and (17-25 years, 26-45 years, 46-55 years, 56-70 years, 56-70 years, > 80 years) on the other hand, on the other hand, the sex of patients in the category of establishments.
The number of stays is supplemented by the corresponding average length of stay (see above for the duration of the sessions). Tables by age class are broken down by type of stay.
Finally, the number of separate patients, i.e. the number of chain keys generated without separate errors, is presented by region. For more information on the chain key, please refer to Circular DHOS-PMSI No. 106 of 22 February 2001 on the chaining of stays in hospitals. This table also shows the number of establishments. This table is only defined from 2001.
