Population

Description

This dataset provides access to the results of population censuses, time series of INSEE’s Macro-Economic Data Bank on the topic of population and other data derived in particular from vital statistics. The population census makes it possible to know the diversity and evolution of the population of France. INSEE provides statistics on inhabitants and housing, their number and characteristics: distribution by sex and age, occupations, diplomas and training, housing conditions, modes of transport, commuting to work, etc. The BDM is the main database of series and indices on all economic and social fields.
