Number of judges of the Regional and Territorial Chambers of Accounts (CRTC), by grade (2010-2017)
Description
The Regional and Territorial Chambers of Accounts have as their principal role on local and regional authorities and their public institutions a triple competence to adjudicate the accounts of public accountants, to examine the management and control of the budget. They also have a mission to assess public policies and the conditions for their implementation at local level through their contribution to thematic surveys ([source](http://www.ccomptes.fr/Nos-activites/Chambres-regionales-des-comptes-CRC)).
The Magistrates’ Corps of the Regional and Territorial Chambers of Accounts has three grades:
— counsellor;
— first counsellor;
— section president.
This dataset tracks the number of magistrates in regional and territorial chambers of accounts, by grade, each year from 2010 to 2015.
