Link research and higher education hubs (PRES), regional development and site policy
Description
Reflection on the territorial dimension of the qualification of higher education and research sites in terms of specialties, skills and relevant actors and governance.This study, developed around two field surveys on the Midi-Pyrénées region for the PRES “University of Toulouse” and on the Nord-Pas de Calais for the PRES “Lille Nord de France”, made it possible to observe the potential of a new institutional landscape in training. The problems of the links of the PRES with the various university sites and territorial development are set out in the second part, while in the third part, recommendations are put forward for the valorisation of the PRES in their site policy and their territorial dimension.
