Description
The database of landscape units in the Île-de-France region
is in line with the work to identify and describe the
landscapes. A first version was published as entities
functional and landscape in the Master Plan of the region
Ile-de-France (Sdrif), adopted by deliberation of the Regional Council on
25 September 2008.The database of landscape units in the region
D’Île-de-France identifies units or entities presenting
landscape singularity sufficient to individualise them, separate them from
their neighbors and give them an identity. This identity is
translated by a name, most often recognised traditionally. This
cutting is made up of three interlocking levels, each of which forms one
complete and exclusive paving of the francilian territory. He doesn't pretend
set boundaries in the landscape, but identify, at the same time as
units, interfaces or transitions that are all places
the stakes.
