Maternity in 2010 — First results of the national perinatal survey
Description
The National Perinatal Survey (ENP) collects information on health status, perinatal care and risk factors, from a representative sample of births made up of all births occurring during a given week.It took place from 15 to 21 March 2010 in all maternity wards in metropolitan France and in the French overseas departments, with the exception of Martinique.The sample includes 14,903 births in metropolitan France, including 440 gemella births and three triple births, i.e. 14,681 women. It integrates data from 526 institutions in metropolitan France (information on the healthcare team, the organisation of women’s care, the maternity environment).
