Description
The objective of IAS® Incidence of gastroenteritis is to carry out syndromic monitoring of gastroenteritis in France. Gastroenteritis is a syndrome that can have many origins: bacterial (consumption of water or food contaminated by bacteria), parasitic (protozoa, amobes) or viral (Rotavirus, Norovirus...). Gastroenteritis occurs all year round, but every winter there is an epidemic of viral origin.
