HOSPI Diag

Description

HOSPI Diag is a decision support tool to measure the performance of a healthcare institution that practices medicine, surgery or obstetrics, compared to other health institutions. It makes it possible to identify its strengths and weaknesses and thus its performance deposits in 5 components: quality of care, professional practices, organisation of care, human resources and finance. Supported by ANAP, Hospi Diag is the result of an agreement of 41 trade experts and 5 institutions (ANAP, DGOS, HAS, IGAS, ATIH). HOSPI DIAG allows: — Get to know each other better (69 indicators and an identity card of 80 data). Data available in “press-button” from the crossing of 12 national databases (PMSI, SAE,...). — Better compare (a base of 1350 MCO establishments). Each institution is compared with institutions in its region, establishments with the same activity profile (national typologies) and institutions of the same category (CH, clinics,...). — Better dialogue internally and with ARS: — in support of an internal dialogue between directors, doctors and caregivers as part of an internal steering assistance and strategic positioning. — in support of the institutions’ dialogue with the ARS. In particular, its use is recommended for the preparation of Pluriannuel Objectives and Means Contracts between ARS and institutions (see DGOS circular of 10 January 2012), within the framework of the DGOS instruction on the social balance sheet (see DGOS instruction of 2 January 2013) and within the framework of COPERMO (see interministerial circular of 5 j)
