Frequency of stays according to main diagnostic codes or acts classifying

Description

The purpose is to present for a code and a year, all GHMs for which this code, main diagnosis or medical procedure classifying, appears in the summaries of stays. This list gives for each GHM its number and wording, the corresponding CMD, the number of stays and sessions, the average length of these stays (see above for the duration of the sessions). The list is presented in descending order of frequency of stays and sessions. The request is made by means of a [form](http://www.atih.sante.fr/statistiques-utilisation-des-codes-diagnostics-principaux-ou-actes-classants-dans-les-bases) to select by means of drop-down menus the year and type of code, main diagnosis or medical procedure classifying. In the latter case, for the years 2002 to 2003, it is also necessary to specify the type of nomenclature of acts, CDAM or CCAM, which then coexist. In addition, selection may be restricted only to establishments ex/under DGF or ex/under NQO. The search is continued either by capitalising a code in the “choice of code” framework, or by starting the processing which allows access to an elementary code via the chapters, sub-chapters, headings defined in the publication of each nomenclature. These nomenclatures are organised on a hierarchical basis, the total number of stays and sessions broken down into stays not CM 24 (GHM J and T as of 2009) nor sessions, stays of CM 24 (GHM J and T from 2009) and sessions, and presented for each chapter, under chapter, heading. For stays not CM 24 (GHM J and T from 2009) nor sessions, stays of CM 24 (GHM J and T from 2009) the average length of stay is also indicated. For memory, since ICD codes describing external causes of morbidity and mortality cannot be used to code the main diagnosis, Chapter XX of ICD-10 is not presented here. Finally, since the rules for selecting the main diagnosis were amended in 2009, in order to avoid undue v11 grouping of RSA in the first two months of this year, it was occasionally necessary to use an associated diagnosis as the main diagnosis; however, when displayed, for consistency with all other data, the presentation is made according to the main diagnosis recorded in the summaries.
