Protective forests of the Bas-Rhin
Description
Protection forest (Articles L.411-1 to L.413-1 of the Forest Code) use scale 1/25000 projection EPSG 2154
The following may be classified as protective forests in the public interest (Article L411-1 of the Forest Code):
forests whose conservation is recognised as necessary to maintain land on mountains and slopes, to protect against avalanches, erosion and flooding of water and sand;
woods and forests, irrespective of their owners, located on the outskirts of large agglomerations, as well as in areas where their maintenance is necessary, either for ecological reasons or for the well-being of the population.
