Collections of the electoral web by the BnF
Description
As part of its heritage mission of [legal deposit of the internet] (https://www.bnf.fr/en/centre-d-aide/depot-legal-des-sites-web-mode-demploi), the Bibliothèque nationale de France regularly collects the French political web. Since 2002, and during each election, websites of the State and local authorities, websites of parties and candidates in campaigning, blogs, online press, public activity on social networks have been archived. It is about documenting the development and diversity of political life and online citizen debate. This work is being carried out with an increasing number of legal deposit libraries in the region. The archived sites are [accessible](https://www.bnf.fr/en/archives-de-linternet) by researchers in the BnF reading rooms. Their list is here proposed to you by ballot. You will find the URLs of the sites, their description (attached parties, geographical level, typology used for the selection, attached keywords), the technical parameters of collection (depth, frequency of passage of robots, history of the URL collected). The BnF makes this data freely available to you, provided the source is acknowledged.
