REFERENTIAL CIGAL: Land Use Database 2008 (BdOCS2008-CIGAL) — Alsace The spatial database of land use 2008 was produced by photo-interpretation of the BD Ortho IGN (a cover of 2007 on the Alsace Region, a cover of 2004 on the Parc des Vosges du Nord and one from 2001 to 2003 on the Parc des Ballons des Vosges) and of satellite images SPOT5 (two full covers, one from seven/Oct 2007 and the other from March/May 2008) throughout the territory of the Cooperation for Geographic Information in Alsace (Alsace Region, regional Natural Park of the Northern Vosges and Regional Natural Park of Ballons des Vosges). This dataset was produced to allow optimal use at the scale of 1/10,000.The study area represents a total area of approximately 10 842 km².
