Description
Thaw barriers applicable on the departmental roads of Saône-et-Loire.
A tonnage limitation is imposed on certain roads by their structure which can be gelive under certain climatic conditions.
The Roads and Infrastructures Directorate (DRI) relies on this traffic limitation for heavy goods vehicles to set up, when weather conditions impose, thaw barriers in order to structurally preserve roads.
