Support for the territorial residence for street and circus arts 2013
Description
The dataset relates to aid granted in 2013 in the context of
assistance to the territorial residence for street arts and the arts
circus.
Residency is understood as the association of an artist or
artistic team and a local authority or host structure
around a street or track arts residency project in
public space. The aim is to promote the sustainable presence of artists
in a territory for a period that exceeds that of the simple
presentation of a work or a show. This presence is part of
in a local development strategy and is based on a triple
mission: the creation or presentation of work steps or mock-ups,
the wide and diversified dissemination of the production and actions of
awareness-raising and support for the population.
***Beneficiaries***
Such regional aid may be granted to structures which:
act for the development of creation, production and
Dissemination of works in public spaces: street or street company
circus, collective of artists, operator working in the fields
street and circus arts; local authorities and
institutional locations. The reception structure must be endowed with means
sufficient human, logistical and technical resources to guarantee the
feasibility of the residence.
***Eligibility conditions ***
Eligible projects must develop around a residence
territorial (creation or establishment) in Île-de-France, on a
precise duration:
- less than 6 months for so-called creative residences
- from 6 months to 1 year for settlement residences.
Priority will be given to projects taking place on
territories where the artistic fields of street arts and arts
Circus are less or less present. \
They must meet the following criteria:
- relate to artists/companies whose creation or
territory is part of the public space. This concerns projects
under the marquee or in the public space for the performing arts.
- specify the conditions of residence by detailing in particular the
artistic project, the duration of the residency, contributions in kind,
cash, etc.
- the residence of creation will aim to realize a production of
the rehearsal phase to the stage creation phase
- the establishment residence will necessarily involve actions
artistic and cultural activities in the host territory with the
habitants
- generally promote a living relationship between the inhabitants and the
creation in public space
- be the subject of an agreement between the artistic team and the
community or place of reception.
- develop technical support and possibly
administrative.
The project leader must receive financial support and/or
nature of a public partner other than the Region.
***Nature and modalities of the aid ***
Regional aid accompanies specific projects defined in the
time and can be renewed. This aid cannot be combined with the
awarded under the Regional Artistic Permanence Scheme and
cultural activities and support for networks. The same structure can receive
aid under each of these two schemes, provided that all
project subsidised under one or other of the schemes will have
has been completed. The aid is fixed at 50% of the subsidisable expenditure excluding VAT or
VAT included if the structure does not recover VAT, subject to a ceiling
maximum subsidy fixed at € 20,000, for residence from 1 to 6 months and
from 40 000 € for the residence of 6 to 12 months. Eligible are all
expenses attributable to the territorial residence proposed under
of this project.
*Award criteria *
- Presentation of a residency project resulting from a
co-development between the artist/company and the community/structure
reception.
- The nature, objectives and content of the residence resulting from a
co-development process between the project promoters
- Consistency of the budget and sustainability of the project
- Proposal for a ‘restitution’ of residential work
- Compliance with the legislation in force and the remuneration of
artists in the framework of the minimums provided for in the agreements
professionals
- Priority is given to projects that are part of an
socially, environmentally and energetically virtuous,
the fight against global warming, the protection of the
biodiversity and more broadly in environmental terms.
Particular attention will be paid to the eco-sustainability of
projects.
