MEP = Special Exercise Modes
A **physician with a particular mode of exercise** is a doctor of whom
**specialty is not recognised by Social Security**, such
acupuncture and homeopathy or a general practitioner exercising
several disciplines for which he has been qualified. That’s how we can
distinguish among liberal general practitioners those who exercise
really a general medicine (generalist) of those who practice
a more specific medicine (MEP). The common trait of the generalists and
at MEPs is the value of conventional tariffs of acts of
consultation and visit, which is less than that of specialists.’
