Description
Residential mobility of new migrants: new migrants who obtained their first residence permit in 2006 are more mobile than the French because they want to quickly access personal housing or improve the comfort of their accommodation. Moving often makes it possible to leave a critical situation. One year after their arrival in France, many new migrants still want to move. These are some of the lessons learned from the DREES(1) survey “Roads and Profiles of Migrants” in 2006 and 2007.
