REDIAM. WMS HIC 1420 Mediterranean and thermo-atlantic halophile Matorrales (Sarcocornetea fructicosae)
Description
WMS service corresponding to the non-priority Habitat of Community Interest 1420 consisting of halophytic crasifolious shrub communities dominated by quenopodiaceans, which may be accompanied by annual grassland and legumes with a varying diversity of species. They develop in humid and very saline soils, both coastal (marismas, coastal salt and bays) and inland (edges of brackish lagoons, endorheic ponds, etc.) and that has a Mediterranean-Atlantic distribution. Among the most frequent species are those of the genus Sarcocornia, Salicornia, Suaeda, Limonium and Arthrocnemum macrostachyum. Node of the Environmental Information Network of Andalusia. Junta de Andalucia. Integrated into the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Andalusia, following the guidelines of the Andalusian Cartographic System.
