Breaking edges Hamburg

Description

Breaking edges define interruptions in the continuous course of a terrain surface (e.g. embankments, retaining walls). In 2008, fracture edges were evaluated photogrammetrically for the area of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (excluding the area of the Hamburg Wadden Sea). With the presentation of the aerial photographs from the annual spring photo flights, the fracture edges were and are checked and continued on a regular basis. The fractured edges reflect the spatial terrain conditions of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg from an individual point of view of the LGV. The data are available in position status 310 (ETRS89/UTM), with elevation data above normal altitude zero (NHN), according to DE_DHHN2016_NH. Note: The fracture edges are not continued across the board. In areas of vegetation, especially areas in forest and shrub areas, the accuracy is lower.
