Reflection seismic profiles
Description
The dataset presents the profile profiles of the reflection seismic measurement campaigns of the hydrocarbon industry (petroleum/natural gas) carried out in Schleswig-Holstein since the 1940s. It is complemented by a number of measurement campaigns by public authorities and research institutions, in particular in the area of coastal waters. The associated data can be provided by the Geological Service SH upon request, subject to availability. Most of the available reflection seismic sections are in the time domain, mostly only stacked, to a lesser extent also time migrated. The performance of reflection seismic measurements, data processing and subsequent interpretation of the sections requires specialized expertise.
