Caribbean Netherlands; population, gender, age and country of birth
Description
This table contains figures on the population on the islands of Bonaire, Saba and St. Eustatius by sex, age and country of birth on 1 January. The islands of Bonaire, Saba and St. Eustatius are part of the Netherlands as a special municipality from 10 October 2010.
Data available from: 2011.
Status of figures:
The figures are final.
Changes as of 5 December 2024:
This is a new table and replaces table Caribbean Netherlands; population, gender, age and country of birth, 2011-2024. See paragraph 3.
The following changes have been made to the discontinued table:
- Persons born in countries that have since disintegrated (e.g. the Soviet Union) have been assigned to one of the countries that originated from these old countries on the basis of birthplace information (see also notes on ‘Country of birth’);
- The native countries of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Turkey are allotted to continental Asia (was Europe);
When will there be new figures?
In the second quarter of 2025, the figures of 1 January 2025 will be added.
