Energy counts utility building services sector; year of manufacture
Description
This table contains figures on the average consumption of electricity and natural gas per m² of use area and per year of construction for different types of utility construction (offices, shops, schools, etc.) in the services sector. This concerns the consumption of natural gas and electricity supplied via the public network. Natural gas consumption has been corrected for temperature effects.
Among other things, Energiekentals are used for policy evaluations and benchmarking.
Data based on the year 2012.

The underlying encodings of the classifications used in this table have been adjusted. These are now in line with the standard coding established by CBS.

When are new figures coming?
Energy counts don't change quickly. Temperature influences on gas counts cannot be fully corrected, in order to minimise temperature influences on gas counts, it has been chosen to base the energy counts on the year 2012. The year 2012 was an average year in terms of outdoor temperatures.
