Soil geological map of Brandenburg 1 : 50 000 - L3744 Potsdam
Description
The sheet Potsdam (L3744) represents the first sheet of the large-scale soil geological map (BK50) on a scale of 1:50,000 for the state of Brandenburg. For the first time, this set of maps is used to uniformly label the soils for the state territory according to comparable methods throughout Germany, regardless of the type of use (in particular agriculture and forestry). The extensive mapping work on which the map is based serves to calibrate, test, translate and re-evaluate older examination results (point and area data) as well as to supplement and extend them.
