Description
The Factor R map belongs to a group of thematic maps based on agroclimatic variables called Characterization or Agroclimatic Information. The Factor R map corresponds to a model of the Factor R (rain erosivity index) of the universal Wischmeier-Smith soil loss equation (USLE) represented through a hyposometric ink map. This information is produced by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food by geostatistical interpolation methods (kriging) from data from 3591 stations belonging to the network of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
