Description
In the track network there are single, double and multi-tracks. Inside operational sites, there are several parallel tracks for passenger exchange, loading and unloading, meetings, switching and setting up track vehicles. On the line between operational sites only main tracks exist. They are referred to as UNE tracks, with E for single track, U (track) and N (downtrack) for double track, see the subdivision type Track Up/Ned/Single.
Inside operational and line sites with main tracks and sidings, the tracks are separated by means of a track number unique to the operational/line site (track number). Track numbers shall be indicated according to the signal drawings and may be either numerical or alphanumeric.
The data product has stretch distribution and connects to the network with reference from node to node with distance in meters to both the starting and end positions of the route in the direction of the track link.
