Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (variation by month)
Description
Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices by category of goods and services. The data are monthly and relate to the period from 2003 onwards.
It should be noted that the basis for calculating the index changes based on the reference period. In particular:
for the years 2016 and thereafter the indicator is calculated on the basis of 2015
for the years 2005-2015 the indicator is calculated on the basis of 2005
for the years 2003-2004 the index is calculated on the basis of 1996
