Description
The Ministry of Finance issues the attached Information Security Recommendation (hereinafter “the Recommendation”), drawn up by VAHTI, the Government Information Security Management Board appointed by the Ministry of Finance. The recommendation complements the extensive information security guidelines issued by the Ministry of Finance (www.vm.fi/vahti) and, in particular, the information security guidelines for teleworking in central government (VAHTI 3/3002).
The Recommendation addresses specific issues related to remote access from the point of view of information security. Remote access refers to the use of IT services by remote access from outside the workstation. The recommendation’s approach is technical. (20.10.2011)
