Ambient vision - Groundwater fluctuation zone
Description
In a zone around the Veluwemassief, on the east side of the dam of Nijmegen and a zone along the Randmeren, there is a (narrow) zone that is extra sensitive to groundwater nuisance, the so-called groundwater fluctuation zone. It is important to take this into account when designing or redesigning urban areas, via the water test, and to take measures if necessary. The Environmental Vision was adopted by the Provincial Council on 9 July 2014.
