GES contours sound (Lnight) — air traffic
Description
The noise load due to air traffic (Lnight) has been translated into GES (Health Effect Screening). The Schiphol Lnight dB sound contours are displayed on maps. All homes and sensitive destinations that are located in the various GES contours have also been pictured. The aim is to understand bottlenecks in the current situation and the risks present in new developments. With this insight, choices can be substantiated.
