Social indicators; Youth, 2024 regional breakdown
Description
This table presents four social indicators at regional level (region breakdown 2024). With the social indicators, an attempt is made to sketch a broad picture of the 'state of youth' per municipality. The information in this table can then be compared with the youth aid use of a municipality.
In order to show how young people in the Netherlands are doing, the National Youth Monitor describes more than 70 topics in addition to these topics. The topics are called indicators.
Data available from 2014 to 2023.
It differs per indicator for which year the figures are available.
- Children in welfare families: 2014-2023
- Participation 3rd graders vmbo: 2015/'16 to 2023/'24
- Registered suspects: 2014-2023
- Young people working: 2014-2022.
Status of figures:
The figures in this table are final with the exception of
- participation 3rd graders vmbo 2023/'24: preliminary figures
- registered suspects 2022 and 2023: preliminary figures
Amendments as at 31 October 2024:
None, this is a new table. This table is the successor of: Social indicators; young people, 2023 regional breakdown. See paragraph 3. For the indicator ‘registered suspects’, the age delimitation up to 25 years was used in this table, now it is up to 23 years. As a result, the figures may differ slightly from each other.
