Forest function Legal recreational forest
Description
Pursuant to Section 33 of the LWaldG, forests can be declared a recreational forest by ordinance if it requires the welfare of the general public to protect, maintain or design forest areas for purposes of recreation. Forests in densely populated areas (densification areas), close to cities and larger settlements, spas, spas and resorts as well as in recreation areas are eligible.
