Cultural History — Old Paths New Roads (additions point locations)
Description
The Old Paths — New Roads project started in 2006 and completed in 2009. It is a collaboration between the Monumentenzorg Support Centre Fryslân, Landschapsbeheer Friesland, Doarpswurk, Plattelânsprojekten of the Province of Fryslân, the Keuning Institute and the Lectorate Rural Renewal of Van Hall Larenstein.
This map shows point locations along already known historical trails in Friesland. The data were collected during workshops in the various regions, based on the knowledge of local residents and interested parties.
