Coal and Coal Products Balance Sheet; supply and consumption
Description
This table provides figures on the supply and consumption of coal, lignite + lignite briquettes and coke oven coke. The calculation of the offer is: production plus recovered products plus imports minus exports plus change in stocks is equal to the amount of coal, lignite + lignite briquettes and coke oven coke consumed in the Netherlands. This consumption is further broken down into the consumer groups energy companies, coking plants, industry, iron and steel industry and other consumers.
Data available from: January 2015.
Status of figures:
- until 2021 final;
- 2022 and 2023 are further provisional;
- 2024 are provisional.
Changes as of 28 June 2024:
Figures for April 2024 have been added.
Changes as of 7 June 2024:
Further provisional figures for 2023 have been added.
Changes as of 14 November 2023:
Figures from 2015 to 2020 have been revised. The revisions relate to the introduction of an improved analytical method in 2022, which has been rolled back to previous years. The differences are up to 5%. Figures from 2021 to 2023 have been updated.
When will there be new figures?
Provisional figures: the third month following the end of the reporting period.
Further preliminary figures: by December of the year following the reporting year.
Final figures: by December of the second year following the reporting year.
