Decreased retention capacity (submerged areas)

Description

The retention capacity in the deeper areas of the groundwater cover is also determined by the storage of the layers. Intense storage disturbances occur especially in glazed congestion areas. In extreme cases, the layers are vertical. The retention capacity is reduced because the low conductors are only partially effective against leaking pollutant-contaminated media due to their disturbed position.
