Halt young people; crime group, sex, age and education
Description
The table provides data on the absolute number of young people per population group and the number of young people per 10 000 inhabitants from the selected population group referred to Halt for a Halt trajectory (the so-called Halt young people) and completed this trajectory in the year of publication. A distinction is made by crime group, gender, age and education. The table also contains data on the type of offence (absolute and relative) by population group.
The table shows how many young people completed a Halt trajectory per type of crime in the publication year. A young person who has been referred to Halt more than once within a year is only counted once in the table. The type of offence is then determined on the basis of the first offence for which the young person was referred to Halt.
Persons who do not appear in the Basic Registration of Persons (BRP) often lack personal data. These persons are included in the absolute figures, but not in the relative figures.
Status of figures:
Data are available from 2005 to 2023. The figures are final.
Educational attainment data are available from reporting year 2013 and not yet available for the last reporting year.
Changes as of 1 November 2024:
The relative figures for 2023 have been corrected. Due to an error in the calculation, the numbers per 1,000 inhabitants were lower than the reality. In addition, the number of 'unknown training' was not correct.
When will new figures become available:
New figures are usually available four months after the end of the reporting year.
