Aerial photos – True orthophotos of the city of Braunschweig from the 2023 pictorial flight
Description
The urban area was flown on 30 April/1 May 2023 from the southern outskirts of the city to the Black Mountain and on 28 May from the northern outskirts of the city to the Black Mountain. The combined image flight (TrueOrthophotos and inclined aerial images) was carried out with a ground resolution of 7.5 cm. From the high-resolution images, so-called True Orthophotos were created for the Braunschweig city area. True orthophotos offer the advantage over the classic orthophotos that outstanding objects from the site are no longer tilted. This aerial mosaic of the city area can be superimposed with maps. It is possible to measure distances and calculate surfaces.
