GloFAS: accumulated precipitation forecast
Description
This data set shows for the whole globe the accumulated amount of precipitation [mm] for the next 10 days, based on the median of the ECMWF ensemble forecast. The update frequency of this data set is daily; and the spatial coverage is global; while the horizontal resolution is 0.1 degree.
This information is produced by the operational suit of GloFAS (www.globalfloods.eu) in order to provide the user with an global overview on the expected quantity of precipitation over the forecast range of 10 days.
