Vegetation Index (NDVI) of Andalusia. Maximum Ten-Year Value Compound, 2013 (TERRA MODIS)
Description
TERRA satellite images captured by the MODIS (MODerate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer) sensor that have been calculated the Ten-Year Maximum Value Compound (CMV) of the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). These images are formed by selecting the best observations for each pixel in a period of 10 days, so that images are generated in which the overall quality is increased, these images are based on the contrast between the red and near infrared bands of the spectrum, which highlights the vegetation coverage and its vigor over large areas. It is composed of 1 image of the year 2013 with a spectral resolution of 1 band and a spatial resolution of 250 m.
