This dataset contains data from the 2018 Courts Service Annual Report. This should be read in conjunction with the relevant published reports from our website.
* 5% increase in the number of matters dealt with.
* 27% increase in the throughput of criminal cases in the Circuit Court.
* 52% decrease in new possession cases from 2017 - down to 1,607 from 3,356 in 2017 – and a
* 20% reduction in possession orders made.
* 16% reduction in bankruptcy applications.
* 12.5% reduction in debt recovery cases
* 62% decrease in Personal insolvency applications
* 75% increase in Asylum cases dealt with
* 53% increase in European Arrest Warrants
