Persons with indication by use Wlz care; indication, delivery form, zzp
Description
As of 2015, long-term care is financed by several laws: the Long-term Care Act (Wlz), the Social Support Act 2015 (Wmo 2015), the Health Insurance Act and the Youth Act.
This table shows the number and proportion of persons who have an indication for Wlz-care from the Centre Indicatiestelling Zorg (CIZ) on reference date; disaggregated by persons who have taken Wlz care in kind, paid for Wlz care from a personal budget (pgb) and persons who have not (yet) received WLZ care. This includes Wlz-indicables and partner residence and excluding persons who use care in kind from a subsidy scheme. Only persons who are included in the Basic Registration of Personal Data (BRP) on reference date will be included. The figures are broken down by indication basis, care gravity package (zzp), delivery form of care and care office region.

Status of the figures:
The figures for the most recent reporting year are provisional. The other figures are final. When a new reporting year is published, the previous year’s figures become final.
Changes as of 10 January 2024:
Preliminary figures for 2022 have been added. The figures for 2021 have been finalised.
When will there be new figures?
The provisional figures shall be published no later than 12 months after the end of the reporting year.
