Biotope Mapping 2020 (WFS and WMS) Frankfurt am Main

Description

The aim of biotope mapping is to describe the equipment of the landscape on the basis of delimitable biotope types (habitats for animals and plants). The Frankfurt City Biotope Mapping has been carried out for 30 years by the Senckenberg Research Institute and Nature Museum – Working Group on Biotope Mapping and takes place throughout the city. The urban area is not completely processed every year. In a ten-year cycle, the city forest and the inner city area are mapped. The rest of the city area is worked on every five years.
