Description
A railway bridge is a bridge loaded by the trains. The railway bridge is part of the railway network.
The product must contain general information on all railway bridges that are part of the State railway network (the Swedish Transport Administration’s track system type) even if they are not managed by the Swedish Transport Administration.
In order to be able to search out if you can cross the railroad separately, there is the attribute “Type of floor separation” which can, for example, have values to show the level separation of GC traffic and floor separation for power-driven vehicles.
One attribute is a combined jvg/road bridge. This means a bridge where road and rail share the fairway.
The data product has stretch distribution and connects to the network with reference to the nearest previous node and nearest previous kilometre board with distance in meters to both the starting and end positions of the route in the direction of the track link.
Exceptions: The bridges that the Swedish Transport Administration owns and is to manage but which are located at a closed or moved track. These bridges lack location because there is no rail network to connect to.
