A compilation of bilateral agreements between Canada and the Kingdom of Spain across the areas of social protection, taxation, culture, air transport, employment, and judicial cooperation. This set includes the Convention on Social Security and its protocol and administrative arrangement; a protocol amending the 1976 taxation convention to avoid double taxation and prevent fiscal evasion; a cultural cooperation agreement; an air transport agreement with annex; an agreement permitting dependents of diplomatic, consular, and mission staff to engage in remunerative employment; and a mutual legal assistance treaty supporting cooperation in criminal matters between the two countries.
